Fully loaded costs for operating a manufacturing facility in
Mexico under the shelter program range from $3.00 dollars to
$7.00 dollars per direct worker hour. This range varies according
to the number of workers employed. See chart below for illustrative
data: |

Fully loaded costs include: labor, fringe benefits, industrial space, utilities, logistics, material handling, administration cost and other incidental operating expenses.
The fully loaded cost mentioned
above does not include: client
on-site manager, cost of materials, equipment depreciation,
transportation of materials in Mexico or abroad, equipment installation.
Billing Options
The
shelter program may be billed under one of the following methods:
- Cost plus
- Cost per hour
- Fixed fee
- Combination of the above
Cost Plus
Actual monthly operating expenses are computed and approved
by the client on-site manager; a percentage fee for the shelter
service is added to operating costs and expenses.
Cost
per Hour
A pre-arranged cost per hour per direct worker is used to calculate
the monthly bill, based on actual work man-hours incurred.
Fixed Fee
A pre-arranged fixed fee is used as a monthly charge, irrespective
of number of employees.
Combination of the above
A mix of the above three methods may be used to suit your particular
preferences. |
